Corpus et Orbis: Interpreting the World through Corpora

Dear ICAMErs,
the conference date is getting closer and it is high time to give you a short update. Due to unexpected circumstances we had to move the whole conference venue from the Faculty of Arts. No need to panic because we have moved to the Faculty of Law (nám. Curieových 901/7, Praha 1), which kindly agreed to host the conference. The Faculty of Law is located only 5 minutes on foot from the original venue, so it should not affect any of your accommodation arrangements (for those of you who do not like walking, there is a tram stop right in front of the building). Faculty of Law is situated towards the end of the Prague’s most beautiful boulevard Pařížská. It is a grand building with very rich history,and belongs to the UNESCO heritage Prague buildings. So everything turned out really well (just our graphic designer is having a headache as the conference logo no longer matches the venue) and we hope you will enjoy the new conference setting.
Thank you for your cooperation in uploading your revised abstracts, the Book of Abstracts will now go to its production phase. We have prepared a preliminary conference programme and hopefully we managed to accommodate all your wishes regarding the timing of your talks.
